Troubleshoot Error loading operating system in Mac

Apple Mac operating system provides easy interface and several advanced features. Apple also offers feature to install Microsoft Windows operating system on Intel based Mac computers. But dual operating system installation, one Mac and other Windows, create problems sometime. You may receive 'Error loading operating system' in case you have installed both the operating system.

After pooping up this error message, you couldn't use your any of the operating system. When you restart your computer the same result producing 'Error loading operating system' and may also give message that 'No bootable device- Insert boot disk and press any key'. When you insert Mac OSX disk to boot the system, it may not help.

The reason that causes Error Loading Operating System in your computer is improper installation of Windows operating system. Apple offers Boot camp program to install parallel operating system. Since, both the Mac and Windows OS uses different file system therefore Boot Camp assists in creating Windows partition in Mac computer. This way following the Windows installation properly you can install Windows in your Mac system.

If the Windows couldn't get installed successfully then your computer may not start and produce such error. In this case, you can try starting your computer by holding Alt (option) key until a window comes up that lets you select options of operating system between Mac OSX and Windows. Select over Mac OSX and go ahead. This will start the computer with earlier installed Mac OS.

If your system couldn't start even with Mac OSX then there may be problem in partition that you created using boot camp. In such circumstances, you need fresh installation of Mac operating system. If you have stored your several stuffs and data in that drive then you can recover it even after Mac OSX installation. You will need to use Mac data recovery software to recover all your documents, images and other files from the formatted hard drive.
