Recover mailbox in Mac OS X Lion



Mac OS X Lion is the latest version of Mac operating system. Many of the Mac users have upgraded their computer to OSX Lion. It has many improved and new feature like Address Book, AirDrop, Apple Push Notification Services, Auto Save, FileVault, FaceTime and lots more. Sometime, you encounter problem with your Lion Mailbox and needs to go for Lion mailbox recovery. When you create new email account using the same username and password information as you used with the previous email account, you experience a serious problem.




When you delete the newly created email account in your Mail app, you encounter with a critical issue. All your mails from the previous email accounts get lost. When you try to find the mails in ~/Library folder, you couldn't find any mailbox. Well, this is not a problem with your Mac Lion.   • Go to the 'Finder' menu
  • Select 'GO'
  • Hold down the option key
  • Go to the folder in ~Library/Mail/V2 folder

You will see the mail folder in that location. Now you need to rebuild the messages to make available through your Mail app. In order to rebuild the messages, start the Mac mail app and go to the 'Mailbox' menu then select 'Rebuild' option. In case, you couldn't find the mailbox in the ~Library folder, it means, the mailbox has lost from the folder. In such case, you need Mac data recovery software to recover lost mailbox in Lion.
