Restore disappeared Mac mailbox
The issue generally occur when you commit some mistakes or do some improper changes in Mail folder. - Exit Mail application
- Move the current file Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist to the desktop
- Copy the file Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist from the old home directory to the corresponding place
- Now start your mail application
Your mail application should now display the disappeared mailbox. If you have still the same issue then your Mac mailbox is lost. You have either upgraded your Mac OSX or accidentally deleted the mailbox that caused the mailbox lost.
