Restore disappeared Mac mailbox


Mac mail application is full of excellent features. It features powerful search capabilities with search suggestions. This is really very handy email client.   • Exit Mail application
  • Move the current file Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist to the desktop
  • Copy the file Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist from the old home directory to the corresponding place
  • Now start your mail application


Your mail application should now display the disappeared mailbox. If you have still the same issue then your Mac mailbox is lost. You have either upgraded your Mac OSX or accidentally deleted the mailbox that caused the mailbox lost.
